KSrelief launches food bags project worth $1 million in Pakistan

The campaign will benefit more than 100,000 people in 10 districts of Punjab.

KSrelief launches food bags project worth $1 million to support Pakistan’s fight against corona virus.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has provided humanitarian and development aid to more than 49 countries over four continents. It has international, regional and local partners in place in recipient countries to implement its programs and initiatives. They have delivered assistance to millions of beneficiaries worldwide.

Thus, King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief) is launching food bag project. It is worth $1 million which is approximately PKR 166,100,000. KSrelief will be distributing the rations in collaboration with government of Punjab.

The Saudi Ambassador in Islamabad His Excellency Mr. Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki has launched the campaign to distribute over 20,000 food bags in Pakistan.

Beneficiaries of Food Ration

The campaign will benefit more than 100,000 people in 10 districts of Punjab. The teams of Hayat foundation will be distributing food bags under supervision of ksrelief. The distribution will be door to door to avoid gathering due to covid-19 pandemic. The beneficiaries will be selected with the help of government of Punjab. 

The distribution will include 10,000 food bags in Lahore and 2000 in Toba Tek Singh. Further, it will also include 1000 each in Faisalabad, Pakpattan, Khanewal, Muzzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Rahim yar khan, Bahawalnagar and Jhang districts.

Thus, KSrelief launches food bags project worth $1 million.

Each bag contains flour 10kg, rice 5 kg, cooking oil 5 litres, sugar 5kg, milk powder 2kg, basin 2kg, dates 2kg, tang powder 1kg and half kilogram of black tea.
