Zong donates Rs 7 million towards Corona Relief Fund. Zong is one of the major telecommunication companies in Pakistan. It has donated Rs 7 million towards the Prime Minister Relief Fund for COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Fund 2020.

Zong Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO) Kamran Ali presented a cheque of Rs 7 million to Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari here at his office, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.
SAPM Zulfikar Bukhari thanked the CRO for donating generously towards the PM corona relief fund and urged the private sector to join the government’s efforts in fight against the Coronavirus.
Further, CRO Kamran Ali apprised the SAPM that the telecom company had taken multiple initiatives to help government combat the deadly virus in the country.
The communication services were being provided to the National Disaster Management Authority and National Institute of Health, he added.
