A global security company is offering hackers to help them improve their security

The company offers a hefty award for successful hackers.

You can win $100,000 by hacking at ExpressVPN. ExpressVPN is among the most well-known virtual private network (VPN) services in the world. The company behind ExpressVPN, Express Technologies Ltd. is now offering users a chance to make $100,000 through its bug bounty program. Urging ethical hackers to trespass the security of its servers, ExpresVPN will hand out $100,000 to the first person who manages to do this.

VPNs like ExpressVPN work by using encryption tunnels that bypass the user’s internet traffic. In simple words, the user’s real IP address is masked by the one provided by a VPN service.

Find vulnerability, win big!

A bug bounty program is an exercise of balance – where companies like ExpressVPN basically say their services are impenetrable while offering ethical hackers a chance to improve the security of their services. In an e-mail, ExpressVPN told BleepingComputer that this marks the “highest single bounty offered on the Bugcrowd platform.” It is also 10 times higher than the top reward earlier offered by ExpressVPN.
