Maloomat by FBR

Maloomat by FBR is a tax profiling system. It has a data of 53 million Pakistani citizens. It shares infomration of assets and bank accounts of both filers and non-filers. Moreover, the Maloomat portal is getting regular updates.

FBR suggests that the Pakistani citizens should seek assistance from this data while filing their returns. Though, this information is indicative only. This data includes all the necessary information with FBR only.

One can view their information with FBR through getting to their iris system on FBR website. They can get into the Maloomat Portal by clicking on FBR-taxray. It is to ensure that the citizens know what data is available with the government about their financial transactions.

Last Date for Filing Income Tax in Pakistan

In its message, FBR warns citizens and states: “Can’t hide anymore – Avail Yourself of Last Chance.” This is a clear message to all citizens that they must submit their returns for tax year 2020.

The last date for filing income tax for 2020 was 30 September. However, FBR had to extend this date for ease of citizens. The last date for filing income tax is 8 December 2020 for individuals and corporate entities.
