In other words, our mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. According to the World Health Organization, mental health is defined as a state of well-being in which a few cases happen.

- can cope with the normal stresses of life,
- can work productively and fruitfully,
- and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.
