1 Major, 5 soldiers embrace martyrdom in the attack
RAW gets active in Balochistan again kills 6 Pakistani soldiers. A Major and 5 soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred as a result.
The targeting of soldiers was as per plan. For this, a remote control IED was put in place. They were returning from patrolling in Buleda area of Balochistan. Buleda is 14 kilometres from Pak-Iran Border. They were there to check possible routes used by terrorists in mountainous terrain of Mekran.
The martyrs include Major Nadeem Abbas, Naik Jamshaid, Lance Naik Khizer Hayat, Lance Naik Taimoor, Sepoy Nadeem and Sepoy Sajid.

Moreover, Balochistan Liberation Army has officially accepted the responsibility. The statement from BLA says, “BLA today targeted a personnel carrier military vehicle of Pakistan Army in Tigran near Turbat. Major Nadeem and six other personnel of Pakistani military were killed. It was an IED attack.” The statement shares message of Jeehand Baloch, spokesperson of BLA.
Indian Role in Balochistan
The Indian RAW is active in Balochistan for years. Further, it has been engaging the disgruntled elements in the province to wage war against the federation.
For this, India uses proxies in Balochistan. These include Baloch nationals living abroad in Western countries. Moreover, they also create a narrative against the Pakistani State to infect the minds of youth against the country. India has been employing a similar pattern earlier in Bangladesh as well.
Earlier, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that his country was involved in separation of East Pakistan. He commented that India supported the creation of Bangladesh through overt and covert means in 1971.
