Pakistani flag shines on Swiss Matterhorn mountain. Through this effort, Switzerland shows solidarity and support with Pakistan in the times of corona virus.
The event marks a once in a lifetime thing where Switzerland is displaying Pakistan’s flag on famous mountain Matterhorn. The mountain in Zermatt village is famous for its pyramid shape.
Since, corona patients in Pakistan rises to 13,909 and situation is getting worse. The entire country is under medical emergency and fighting the pandemic. The people of Switzerland decide to show respect to Pakistani men and women and support Pakistan to combat against novel corona virus.

The beautiful mountain light up with Pakistani flag. This solidarity is to show support to brave men and women in this part of the world.
“In Pakistan with high mountains like Switzerland, the spread of the coronavirus is on the rise. We show solidarity with the people of Pakistan and wish them much strength”, says Zermatt official.
Gerry Hofstetter the artists started this initiative last month. He starts with the lightening of Swiss flag on the mountain.
They are projecting words such as ‘hope’,‘solidarity’,‘stay home’, and ‘Thank you’.
Since Switzerland is also fighting with pandemic and about to defeat it. Corona cases in Switzerland are 28,978 with 22,300 recovered. These statistics are bringing positive news.
However, the world is going into worse condition but it seems like the Swiss government has control over it.
Posting Other Flags
They posted a picture of the Pakistani flag on their website and twitter. It says, “Switzerland shows solidarity with the people of Pakistan and wishes them strength.” Zermatt Matterhorn officials are also projecting flags of other countries including the United States, Canada, Turkey, Nepal, India, China, and Russia.
