The new permit is introducing the Travel Declaration for every individual. The Travel Declaration will be required to be shared by every individual who plans to move out of the British territories.

The ‘Declaration of Travel’ will be submitted by every individual prior to their planned visit. The form has to be sent to the authorities at least 60 hours prior to flying from all outbound travelers. The government is using it cautiously be making it a criminal offence if someone doesn’t submit the form.
Criminal Nature of the Regulation
The new regulations come into effect from Monday 8 March 2021. Thus, anyone who is traveling internationally from a port of departure in United Kingdom is liable to submit the travel declaration. Moreover, if someone doesn’t submit, they will be committing a criminal offense. All the airlines, ferries, training operators and other modes of communication are liable to see that the passenger has a valid reason for travel.
The measure is to ensure that corona virus can be contained within the UK. Any international travel from UK will be opening in the middle of May this year. Currently, one can only travel with a valid reason which includes medical emergency, official work or urgent family matters only.
The travel declaration asks for all the personal details of travelers. These includes personal information including address, passport details, contact information and destination of travel. It allows the traveler to check any of the reasons for travel and lets the government to assess whether someone is allowed to travel or not.
