In Pakistan, Sindh has the best response against Covid-19. Although, the Pakistan Peoples Party is often criticized for bad governance, its response against Covid-19 is surely one of the best in Pakistan. The provincial government has efficiently responded to the virus concerns. It was the first one to take precautionary measures against the pandemic. Similarly, its continuous efforts against the pandemic can be seen on daily basis.
The Chief Minister of Sindh, Mr. Murad Ali Shah is regularly updating the media and general public on actions, advice or inintiatives. He is also actively sharing data on social media handles. The Leader of House in Sindh Assembly is regularly visiting the testing sites also.
The Sindh government procured 10,000 Covid-19 testing kits immediately and has started testing people across the provinces. More importantly, the provincial government has also undertaken public-private partnership interventions. It has engaged with Indus hospital to fight the pandemic.
