Google beats all video call applications with one update. Google Duo becomes the first free video call application that can connect up to 100 people at a time. Initially, Google Duo had 4 users and then an update took it to 8, and later on 12 could connect at a time.
Moreover, in the new update, Google implements a new AV1 video codec to all Duo calls to improve video call quality over slower internet connections.
