The Incumbent CDA administration, which is sensitive to issues of common men in the street, will now carpet roads and streets in Islamabad.

Moreover, the Capital Development Authority is also working on a comprehensive strategy to uplift infrastructure in Islamabad.

The official website of CDA is here: Capital Development Authority

The tenders for road are available here.

Capital Development Authority procures all its goods and services in accordance with PPRA Procurement Policy, all PPRA codes of practice and guidelines, and the Authority’s Procurement Policy.

This is the first significant development activity in Islamabad in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led current government. Previously, a pause could be seen on a number of development activities. This pause was due to the economic situation in the country where few funds were available for any development work. Let’s hope the momentum continues as CDA plans to start road carpeting projects in Islamabad.
