Bollywood Diva Nargis Fakhri is on spiritual sabbatical. She is spending more time in Los Angeles, California as corona virus pandemic has put life to a halt around the world. Though, her heart lies in India and she wants to start shooting movies again. Several Indian Superstars such as Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan & Kareena Kapoor are residing within India as a lockdown measure. However, Nargis seems to enjoy the benefits of dual nationality.
Bollywood Diva opens up to Hindustan Times. She says that she is all alone in these catastrophic times. She also says that she misses to be in front of the camera for shooting movies in Bollywood.
She says that she is usually alone even when she is in India. However, she misses to be around the people she works with. “I’m grateful for the internet that enables me to connect with everyone,” she says.
Spiritual Sabbatical for Nargis Fakhri
While discussing her projects, she claims that all her projects in pipeline are in a halt. “A number of events and shoots are canceling,” she adds.
However, she takes it as an opportunity. “I’m on a spiritual sabbatical, prioritizing my health and living my life to its fullest potential,” she adds.
The actress claims that she is taking time to understand herself. She comments, “I’m enjoying getting to know myself and standing in my authenticity, something I felt I couldn’t do while working overseas.”
The actress is looking upon aspects of what is coming ahead in her life. She is taking time to ponder upon her own life.
The actress is pondering on the questions such as what is the next chapter of her life going to look like. “I do miss working in Bollywood and would love to keep doing films, but work-life balance is very important for my mental and physical well being,” claims Ms. Fakhri in the interview.
